Where Are TRM Knives Made?
In our close-knit EDC community, we are often asked: “Where are TRM Knives made?”
The answer is simple. TRM (Three Rivers Manufacturing) Knives are made in the United States. More specifically, Three Rivers, Massachusetts.
But if you know anything about TRM, you know the story doesn’t end there.
Made in Massachusetts, Built for the World
Every TRM knife is proudly designed, machined, and assembled in the U.S., from raw materials to finished product and shipped world-wide.
We don’t outsource overseas and we don’t cut corners. Every blade, handle, and component is produced by a small, dedicated team that obsesses over the details.
That’s what allows TRM Knives to feel the way they do, ultra-smooth and ultra-sharp.
What “Made in the USA” Means to Us
When we say “Made in the USA,” we mean made with quality. For us, American-made isn’t a label, it’s a commitment.
- Precision Control: Every step happens in-house, allowing tighter tolerances and unmatched consistency.
- Material Integrity: Premium steels like MagnaCut and CPM 20CV are sourced from trusted U.S. suppliers, ensuring quality and authenticity.
- Craftsmanship: Our machinists and assembly specialists are knife enthusiasts themselves. Each knife is checked, tuned, and finished by hand.
- Customer Connection: If you ever have a question, repair, or warranty claim, you’re dealing directly with the people who made your knife.
This level of transparency and pride simply can’t be replicated if we built these knives anywhere else, but here.
Why It Matters to the TRM Community
For many EDC enthusiasts, buying American-made isn’t just patriotic, it’s personal. It’s about supporting small business, skilled trades, and ethical manufacturing. It’s about knowing your knife wasn’t mass-produced, but crafted. It's always one of a kind.
At TRM, we build knives meant to be carried, used, and passed down. Every Neutron, Atom, or Tagalong is a piece of our story, and of yours. When you buy a TRM knife, you're buying something made by a small company, with real people, for real users.
And when you carry a TRM knife, you’re carrying more than just steel, you’re carrying craftsmanship, community, and American pride.
